STMicro linear op amps have 3nV/kHz noise

STMicroelectronics has introduced a TSH11x series of linear operational amplifiers that feature a noise of 3nV/kHz and a bandwidth of 100MHz, meeting the requirements of high-volume consumer applications such as video, ADSL and optical storage.

The single-channel TSH110 and TSH111, the dual-channel TSH112, the triple-channel TSH113, and the quad-channel TSH114 are current-feedback operational amplifiers that offer a slew rate of 490V/5s and consume 3.mA.

The TSH111 and TSH113 also feature a standby function for each channel, offering a power-down mode with high output impedance.

The devices operate from 2.5V to 6V with a dual supply voltage, or from 5V to 12V on a single supply voltage. They are able to drive a 100W load with a minimum swing of 9V. Distortion is placed at -65dB (2MHz), while gain flatness is at 25MHz (6dB gain).

The TSH110 is shipped in a SOT23-5l package, while the TSH111 comes in SO-8. The TSH112 is available in both SO8 and TSSOP8, while the TSH113 and TSH114 come in SO-14 and TSSOP14 packages.
