The DP214 digitizer card from Acqiris SA is claimed to be first PCI-based digitizer card to use SiGe technology for the acquisition of ultrafast signals with up to 1GHz analog bandwidth. The card digitizes signals up to 2GSa/s (single-shot) and stores data in up to 16 million points of waveform memory.

Designed to be plugged directly into the PCI slot of a standard PC, the card uses DMA data transfer to transmit digitized data directly to the PC memory at 100MBps. The card is suitable for use in single-channel applications such as EMC/EMI, power measurement, mechanics, and ballistics testing.

The DP214 card offers multi-purpose I/O connectors for trigger, clock, and acquisition functionality. Pre- and post-triggering are available with edge, window and sequential trigger modes while a precision time base circuit provides for accurate measurements.

The card consumes <25W and run under Windows 95/98/2000/NT4/XP, Linux, and VxWorks OS.
