MKS Instruments establishes techn center in San Jose

MKS Instruments Inc. has opened a Silicon Valley technology center in San Jose, California. The new facility, which supplements MKS' three current Silicon Valley customer support centers, is designed to enable close coordination on subsystem design between MKS and semiconductor equipment manufacturers.

"This expansion is a direct result of our growth in the West Coast marketplace in which we hope to enhance our ability to respond quickly to our customers' changing process requirements. The center will enable MKS to coordinate subsystem design and support, by providing real time and comprehensive solutions to our customers' process challenges in addition to the technical sales and service support that they already depend upon," said Leo Berlinghieri, VP of Global Sales and Service.
