Micrel Semiconductor Inc. has announced the release of three new PECL/LVPECL multiplexers that feature a random jitter of <1psrms and deterministic jitter of <25pspp, making them suitable for use in SONET/SDH communication systems, high-end enterprise server applications, and ATE systems.
Shipped in 20-pin TSSOP casings, the SY100EP56V dual differential 2:1 MUX and SY100EP57V differential 4:1 MUX, are positioned as plug-in replacements for ON Semiconductor's MC100EP56DT and MC100EP57DT, respectively.
The SY100EP58V 2:1 MUX is offered in an 8-pin SOIC and MSOP housing, and is claimed by the company to replace ON Semiconductor's MC100EP58D/DT.
The 3GHz devices operate from 3V to 5.5V at a temperature range of -400C to 850C. The SY100EP56V offers a skew of <100ps and an output rise/fall time of <230ps.
For 1,000-piece quantities, the SY100EP56V and SY100EP57 are priced at $4.98, while the SY100EP58V is quoted at $3.95. |
