Commtag adopts CSR's Bluetooth technology

Commtag, a developer of always-on wireless applications and services, has partnered with Cambridge Silicon Radio (CSR) to combine Commtag's Duality always-on mail with a range of devices built using CSR's Blutooth technology.

According to Commtag, through the Blutooth connectivity, the Duality always-on mail is able to provide a secure and seamless wireless mobile e-mail solution, giving users simultaneous real-time access to e-mail on their choice of wireless device and PC.

"Inclusion of Bluetooth connectivity within an increasing number of business and consumer mobile devices demonstrates the progression to mainstream technology," said Matthew Philips, VP of Strategic Marketing at CSR. "Commtag's Duality offers it users freedom and productivity gains and its adoption among executives will further drive penetration of Bluetooth devices." Philips added.
