KAIST ties up with Microsoft for .NET academy center

Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST)'s Industrial Engineering Faculty and Microsoft Corp. have agreed on establishing a .NET academy center that aims to train IT experts through web-based .NET technology.
Under the agreement, Microsoft will provide various servers and software to the institution, including experimental server computer, advanced server based on Window 2000, SQL server, exchange server, BizTalk server, and software for developing Web applications.
The Industrial Engineering Faculty plans to educate its students with web service development method using XML over .NET platform during regular lectures and short-term courses. |
