The DP240 features two full-input channels each with independent front-end electronics (gain and offset control) with 1GHz bandwidth, 1GSa/s ADCs, and up to 8 million points of acquisition memory. By switching to single-channel mode ,the card doubles the sampling rate to 2GSa/s and storage capability to 16 million points.
The DP235 offers a dual-channel sampling rate of up to 500MSa/s (1GSa/s in single-channel mode), 500MHz bandwidth, and 128,000 points of memory (2 million points optional).
The cards' oscilloscope-like front-end includes clock-in, trigger gate out, start acquisition on trigger, gated trigger, acquisition ready, and acquisition running functions. An external trigger input features programmable gain control while a trigger out capability can be used to trigger other cards or devices.
The trigger circuitry also features 1GHz bandwidth and includes a trigger time stamp function for fast throughput applications.
Both second-generation PCI digitzer cards can be plugged directly to a PC's PCI slot. They transfer data at up to 100MBps and consume <25W. They are fully-programmable and can run under Windows 85/98/2000/NT4/XO, Linux, and VxWorks OS. In addition, they can also be used with off-the-shelf software such as National Instrument's LabWindows/CVI and LabVIEW. |
