W-Link has selected Zeevo Inc.'s TC2000 single-chip device to be integrated in its range of products, including Bluetooth modems, Bluetooth access points, combo Bluetooth/802.11b access points, printers, and several other applications. These applications are expected to be shipping in volume by the third quarter of this year.

W-Link will run the product applications on the ARM7TDMI core embedded on the TC2000 device and use the system memory provided on-board the TC2000. Zeevo's TC2000 integrates a Bluetooth Radio, baseband, embedded ARM7TDMI microprocessor, and a complete memory subsystem enabling a complete integration of Bluetooth functionality on the market. With the TC2000, Zeevo will be able to provide the protocol stack and profiles for various applications.

"The TC2000 from Zeevo is enabling us to add Bluetooth connectivity to peripheral products at an effective cost and with minimal design time. Zerial pre-compiled software applications provide an easy interface so our developers can write applications onto Zeevo's solution quickly and efficiently," said Dr. John Chow, president of W-Link.
