ON Semiconductor has added two new clock management devices to its GigaComm line of SiGe products for use in high-performance workstations, servers, 10Gb Ethernet line cards, and optical networking equipment.

The NBSG11 1:2 and NBSG14 1:4 differential clock drivers feature RSECL outputs and are designed to distribute clock signals at operating frequencies beyond 10GHz.

Both 16-ball FCBGA devices operate from 2.375V to 3.465V and are claimed to reduce power consumption by limiting the supply current to 25mA. They have rise/fall time of 30ps and a propagation delay of 125ps. Current drain is placed at <55mA for the NBSG11 and <60mA for the NBSG14.

The NBSG11 and NBSG14 are priced at $23.86 and $28.62 (10,000-unit), respectively.
