Quartz Frequency shuts down crystal oscillator line

Quartz Frequency Technology Ltd has closed its crystal oscillator production lines at its plant in Taiwan. The company has moved its crystal and oscillator production lines to Beijing, China. The Taiwan plant is being devoted to production of EMI absorbers.

Quartz Frequency's James Pon-Wei Hou noted, "There are few companies making EMI absorbers around the world. As the matter of fact, only one U.S. and British company are offering this product. Quartz Frequency spent three years developing EMI absorbers to be used in AOMB for microwave systems. Currently, Quartz Frequency produces a monthly output of five million units of plate-type and form-type EMI absorbers, respectively."
