The E2747 TCXO from C-MAC MicroTechnology operates from a 3.3V supply and draws 2.5mA, while providing Stratum 3 frequency stability within a 7-by-5mm device footprint.

Based on the company's Pluto temperature compensation IC, the TCXO provides a 24h holdover stability of 10.32ppm between -200C and 700C, and an all-causes stability of 14.6ppm over 20 years.

The E2747 can be combined with Semtech's single-chip ACS8510 synchronous equipment timing source (SETS) device for use within SONET/SDH equipment. Together, they feature a maximum time interval error of <0.2ns and time deviation of 0.01ns.

Jitter at the SETS chip's 155.52 MHz output frequency is also minimized to <0.005UI within a pass band of 12kHz to 1.3MHz.

The E2747 has an HCMOS output with tristate option that allows in-circuit test.
