BivarOpto LEDs allow solid-array lighting capability

The Super Flux Mako LED series from BivarOpto feature a viewing angle of 600 and are designed in a modular format that enables them to be fitted together to create a grid-type solid color display suited for outdoor displays such as traffic signs and stadium scoreboards.

Available in high-intensity blue, aqua, green, amber, and red (InGaN or AlGaInP) colors, the LED modules incorporate a heatsink to allow a continuous forward current of 50mA and an average forward current of 30mA (2.4V to 4.6V). They are also available with wavelengths from 465nm to 630nm.

The components occupy a footprint of 7.62mm2 and provide 5.08mm "grid-spaced" PCB pins with integral standoffs to allow insertion into industry-standard through-hole circuitry.
