The DC2KV GR4 series capacitors from Murata Electronics are designed using highly sophisticated Base Metal Inner Electrode (BME) technology. These high-voltage chip capacitors reduce EMI and meet IEEE 802.3 standard required by LAN interface equipment.

They are offered with capacitance values ranging from 100pF to 2.22nF, as well as exhibit stable performance due to the X7R characteristic, where capacitance tolerance is specified at only 115 percent over -550C to 1250C. Surface-mountable, the capacitors require less space than conventional leaded capacitors. This enables thinner and more compact network devices.

The capacitors come in two sizes: 4.5-by-2-by-2mm and 4.5-by-3.2-by-2mm. They are quoted starting at 15 cents per 100,000-unit quantities.
