Kycon USB plug withstands up to 500Vac

The KUSB-SMT2-AP series of surface-mount, A-type USB plug from Kycon Inc. withstands up to 500Vac and is designed for use in dongles and adapters, Flash memory devices, USB hard drives, and hardware/software keys.

The four-pin plug has an insulator made from black or white PA6T thermoplastic and contacts made of phosphor bronze with gold flash over nickel. Contact resistance is placed at 30 milliohms while insulation resistance is at 1 megohms (min.).

Available with either 0.9mm or 1.35mm plastic posts, the plug operates from -550C to 850C and requires 3.57kgf for insertion and 1.02kgf for extraction.
