Starting 2003, electronicChina and SEMICON China, two major electronics exhibitions in mainland China, will be co-located, according to Messe Muenchen International (MMI) and Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International (SEMI), organizers of the events.
The first joint exhibition is scheduled for March 11 to 13, 2003 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. With this cooperative arrangement, the combined expositions will be the future platform for the electronics industry concerning electronic components and production engineering. Additionally there will be an extensive conference and seminar program, the SEMICON China Technical Symposium and the PCIM China Conference.
The joint project between Messe Muenchen and SEMI includes an extensive collaboration, especially concerning visitor acquisition and public relations.
"With this concentrated exhibition we offer greater value to the Chinese electronics industry and provide exhibiting companies from around the world with more efficient access to the most exciting and dynamic market for electronics manufacturing," said Stanley T. Myers, president and CEO of SEMI. |
