Eten introduces Chinese-language PocketPC

Eten Information Systems Co. Ltd has introduced the InfoTouch P600 PocketPC that supports traditional and simplified Chinese characters, and provides GPRS capability.

Developed together with Microsoft, the device operates at the 900MHz and 1.8GHz GSM/GPRS band and provides full mobile phone features along with PocketPC 2002 OS with softwares such as Pocket Outlook, Pocket Excel, and Pocket Dialer.

The 13.5-by-8-by-1.8mm integrates a 240x320 resolution, color TF-LCD that displays 65,536 colors. It also has a 206MHz StrongARM 32-bit RISC processor, 32MB of ROM, and 64MB of RAM. Audio interfaces include a built-in microphone, speakers, and provision for an external stereo headset. Data interfaces include provisions for IrDA and USB.

The InfoTouch P600 is powered by a rechargeable Li-ion battery and provides an SD/MMC card slot and a stylus pen.
