The RFS-2093 50-ohm in-line surge protector from RF Connectors features N female interfaces and is designed for use with frequencies from 0Hz to 6GHz. The connector protects small to medium power radios, WLLs, WLANs, and cellular base stations from lightning strikes.

Compliant with IECC and IEEE standards, the device has an aluminum die-cast, nickel-plated body with a fast-action gas tube arrestor. One end features a standard MIL-C-71A N female interface, while the other end is an N female bulkhead.

The gas tube arrestor has a dc breakdown voltage of 90V, shockwave breakdown voltage of 5kV/5s of 1kV, and can handle a maximum shockwave current of 5kA from 85s to 205s. AC breakdown current is 25A, while insulation resistance is 10 gigaohms.
