J.W. Miller has designed its PM0402 Series of multilayer, surface-mount chip inductors for HF designs. At a microminiature size of 1-by-0.5-by-0.5mm, they can be used in applications such as cellphones, PDAs, pagers, HF wireless communication devices, notebook PCs, printers, and network cards.

A monolithic construction with ceramic material ensures stable electrical characteristics and high reliability. The devices are available in an inductance range of 1nH to 56nH and a dc current range of 0.15A to 0.3A Operating temperature range is -250C to 1050C.

The PM0402 is priced from 10 cents to 12 cents, depending on quantity, and comes at 10,000 units per reel. Delivery is from stock.
