Vectron clock smoother eyes telecom apps

The CS-300 clock smoother from Vectron International accepts any input frequency from 10MHz to 700MHz and then "cleans up" the signal to provide an ultra low jitter output signal, making it suitable for use in telecommunications applications.

The SAW-based device also produces an output frequency between 155.52MHz to800MHz, enabling it to be used as a frequency translator.

Shipped in a 16-pin surface-mount package measuring 25.4-by-20.5-by-5mm, the device is available with either 3.3Vdc or 5Vdc supply voltages and operates over the temperature range of -400C to 850C. it generates a maximum jitter of 1ps (12kHz to 20MHz), satisfying the requirements set by Telcordia and ITU-T.
