AKCP has added the Analog Measurement Capability sensor interface to its sensorProbe 2A product, allowing customers to add analog sensors to the monitoring device for measuring humidity, temperature, airflow, and voltage, among others.

Designed for rack mount installation, the 114.3-by-63.5-by-31.75mm device features a 10Base-T RJ45 port that can connect to an Ethernet network and allow users to set measuring thresholds via a web browser.

When the environment of the sensor changes beyond the user specified limits, it sends alerts using e-mail and SNMP traps. It also provides a simple embedded graphing utility to provide customers with simple temperature and humidity tracking.
