CML radio processor provides GPS capability

Suited to be integrated into simple and complex handheld radios, the CMX882 operates from a single 2.7V rail and performs voiceband and subaudio filtering, pre- and deemphasis, compression and expansion, audio routing, and global level setting with single or two-point modulation available in the transmit path.
Enhanced CTCSS and DCS encoding and decoding is incorporated, while GPS location data transport is provided via a 1.2Kbps or 2.4Kbps FFSK/MSK packet data modem incorporating interleaving, FEC, CRC, and data scrambling functions.
Available in 28-pin SSOP and TSSOP packaging, the device also features the company's XTCSS Signalling technology to provide >99 squelch privacy codes and 'silent operation'. |
