Benson UPS device features lighter weight

Suitable for use in networking, telecommunications, and medical equipment, Benson Power & Controls Pvt Ltd's Gold Series of online UPS devices features the latest PWM technology with high frequency switching capabilities and MOSFETs/IGBTs, allowing the device to be more than 50 percent lighter than competing devices.

The UPS also features a zero-voltage switched frequency converter, a fully controlled SMPS (switch mode power supply) based charger for increased battery life, and a set of built-in batteries. Further, the device has overload and short circuit protection, and is claimed to have high surge capabilities.
