Cirocomm WLAN filters suit 802.11a, 801.11b apps

Cirocomm Technology Corp. has announced the availability of WLAN filters that suit the 802.11a and 802.11b frequency bands, and can be used in WLAN transceivers especially those integrated into PCMCIA or CompactFlash cards.

The J type has a center frequency of 2.45GHz and a bandwidth of 100MHz. It has an insertion loss ranging from 1dB to 1.3dB and measures 3.6-by-3mm with a profile from 1.6mm to 1.8mm.

Shipped in a 4.5-by-3-by-1.8mm package, the p-type is available with center frequencies of 5.25GHz and 5.75GHz, both with a bandwidth of 200MHz. Insertion loss is at 1.5dB.
