GWD to distribute Novatel WLAN card

Novatel Wireless Inc. has signed an agreement with Global Wireless Data LLC (GWD) to distribute its PCS Connection Card, the Merlin C201. The Merlin C201 is a 3G1X-compatible PC card designed to operate on the Sprint Nationwide PCS Network, enabling the transfer of wireless data and wireless Internet browsing using both PCs and PDAs.

"Our partnership with GWD is a further step in expanding the availability of our CDMA 1X products," said Peter Leparulo, SVP, CDMA operations for Novatel. "As an agent for four of the largest wireless carriers, GWD can deliver the full range of integrated services, from fulfillment, to activation, to distribution, that channel partners' need to get their customers up and running."
