Uniwill's Bluetooth modules integrate CSR BlueCore

Taiwan-based Uniwill Computer Corp., a designer and manufacturer of PCs and information appliances, has launched a Class 1 Bluetooth module using Cambridge Silicon Radio's (CSR) BlueCore chip.

Uniwill's module, the BTM2022-1-Y, offers a footprint measuring 25.6mm-by-14-by-2.5mm, made possible by using CSR's BlueCore2 chip requiring no external LNA. With a regulated supply voltage, and an output power of 20dBm, the Class 1 Bluetooth design will permit an operating range of 100m. The module is complies with the Bluetooth v1.1 specification.
