Jungo Software Technologies Inc. has added the USB Slave Stack to its Embedded Software Components product line, providing the device manufacturers with a USB driver layer and API to easily incorporate standard USB connectivity in peripheral devices with embedded OS that lack such support.

The USB Slave Stack is a modular USB Device Controller driver that includes the USB logic and provides an API for the physical driver and an API for the device class driver. In addition, Jungo provides physical drivers for IDT Banyan (RP355/RP351), Kinpo-Conexant 82110, and Samsung 8947 boards, to further reduce integration time.

The stack features full and low speed support as well as support for control, bulk, and interrupt data transfer. It is compliant with the USB 1.1 specification and supports OS including Linux and embedded Linux.
