Microchip Technology is currently entertaining registrations from design engineers in China for its third annual training conference in Shanghai. Microchip's Annual Summer Technical Exchange Review, or MASTERs as it is known, is slated to be held from October 29 to 31 at the Shanghai National Accounting Institute.

The MASTERs Conference provides design engineers with an annual forum for sharing and exchanging technical information on the company's PICmicro microcontrollers, linear and mixed-signal solutions, KEELOQ security devices, dsPIC digital signal controllers, and microID RFID devices. Microchip expects to draw at least 300 attendees this year.

"MASTERs is an intense, bidirectional technical conference that arms embedded engineers with extensive Microchip product and technology information, enabling them to take full advantage of our product portfolio and design expertise," said Ken Pye, director of applications programs for Microchip. "It is the third year for the program to be held in China, and already it has become very popular."
