The AK5381 24-bit, two-channel ADC from Asahi Kasei Microsystems Co. Ltd integrates a high-pass filter to eliminate dc offset and is aimed at DVD-R and CD-R drives, electronic musical instruments, and A/V amplifiers.

The 96kHZ device uses the company's dual-bit delta-sigma technology and requires no external components. It operates off either a single 5V supply or a split 3V/5V supply. The 16-pin TSSOP device can operate in both master and slave modes, and offers 106dB dynamic range and a 106dB SNR.
