Dow Corning Electronics, a supplier of wet-dispensed thermal interface materials (TIMs), has deepened its commitment to end-users by entering the fabricated thermal materials market with traditional pads and films slated for release by year-end.

According to the company, the fabricated product line represents Dow Corning's marketing strategy for TIMs. The TIM product line includes adhesives, encapsulants, compounds, and gels for all segments of the electronics industry.

"By broadening our product line to include fabricated materials, we aim to offer end-users the convenience of a single source for all of their thermal management material needs," said Jeroen Bloemhard, global marketing manager thermally conductive materials. "Not only are we developing comprehensive product line in the industry, but through the strength of our global network, we can also distribute those products anywhere in the world and support them with local technical expertise," he added.
