Designed to eliminate EMI in power lines for PCs, telecoms, and other electronic equipment, the Dale IMC-2220 series of surface-mount inductors from Vishay Intertechnology Inc. measures 5.6-by-5-by-5mm and serve as drop-in replacements for industry-standard 2220 or metric 5650 devices.

The devices are available with 49 inductance values ranging from 1?H to 10mH with tolerances of 5 percent and 10 percent. Intended for medium- to low-frequency resonant circuits, the new devices are rated for currents from 25mA to 1.8A.

Rated for operation over the -25C to 85C temperature range, the inductors features a molded construction that is moisture-resistant and lead-free terminations that are compatible with vapor-phase infrared and wave soldering.
