Designed to support latest motherboards, the ValueRAM 32-bit RIMM 3200 and RIMM 4200 devices from Kingston Technology Co. Inc. support two 16-bit channels per memory modules, effectively doubling the peak bandwidth per module when compared to a standard 16-bit RIMM module.

In addition, unlike 16-bit RIMMs that need to be installed in pairs, the new 32-bit RIMMs can be added one at a time, thus reducing costs for OEMs and system users. The RIMM 3200 and 4200 are available in speeds of 800MHz and 1.066GHz, respectively.

The RIMM 3200 and RIMM 4200 RIMM modules also operate at 40ns and 32ns, respectively, and achieve a peak bandwidth of up to 4.2GBps with the new dual-channel architecture.
