ISSI SRAMs reduce power rating in half

The IS61LV12816L and IS61LV2568L 2MB ASRAM from Integrated Silicon Solution Inc. feature an access time of 8ns, while consuming <50mA active power and <0.5mA standby power, effectively reducing power rating by 50 percent compared to the company's previous devices.

Offered in x16 and x8 options, the ASRAMs operate from a 3.3V and function over the industrial temperature range. They are targeted for use in high-speed networking applications such as WLAN, VOIP, switches, routers, DSLAM, as well as telecommunication applications, including STBs, cable modem, IP phones, GPS, and DSL modems.

For quantities of 10,000, the IS61LV12816L and IS61LV2568L are priced at $2.50, and are available in 44-pin TSOPII, 44-pin LQFP, or 48-ball mini BGA packages.
