The HT62L256 SRAM chip of Holtek Semiconductor Inc. features an access time of 70ns while operating from a 2.7V to 3.3V supply and drawing a maximum current of 20mA.

Available in a 28-pin SOP or TSOP casing, the device has a 32Kwords-by-8 bit configuration and features an automatic power down that allows the IC to consume 2?A. It also features three state outputs, fully-static operation, and retains data even when the supply voltage falls to 2V. The SRAM is specified for operation over the 0C to 70C temperature rang.
