The INA217 preamplifier from Texas Instruments Inc. features a noise performance of 1.3nV/sqrt-Hz (1kHz) for 200-ohm source impedance, making it suitable for use in professional microphone and transducer amplifier applications.
A member of the company's Burr-Brown product line, the preamplifer uses current-feedback circuitry to achieve a bandwidth of 800kHz and gain of 100. It has 0.004 percent distortion, output swing of 2V from the rails, 110mA quiescent current, >100dB common-mode rejection, and input voltage range of 14.5V to 118V.
The device is specified for operation over the -400C to 850C temperature range and is pin-compatible with Analog Devices' discontinued SSM2017 device. It is available in DIP-8 and SOL-16 packages and is priced at $2.35 in 1,000 piece quantities. |
