Koncent DWDM module has 4.5dB max insertion loss

The 100G DWDM module of Fuzhou Koncent Optical Communication Co. Ltd exhibits a maximum insertion loss of 4.5dB, maximum ripple of 0.5dB, and minimum directivity of 50dB, making it suitable for use not only in DWDM systems but also in CATV networks, as well.

Offered in 4-, 8-, 16-, and 32-channel models, the 120-by-80-by-9mm device features a mux isolation of 15dB both for adjacent and nonadjacent channels, and a demux isolation of 28dB for adjacent channels and 40dB for nonadjacent channels.

Thermal wavelength drift is 1.5pm/0C, while directivity is measured at 50dB (minimum). The module has a maximum polarization dependent loss of 0.1dB and polarization mode dispersion of 0.1ps. Minimum return loss is 45dB.

The 100G outputs 500mW and is specified for operation over the -400C to 850C temperature range.
