Proxim 802.11a/b Combocard features security authentication

The CardBus-format device allows users to access either an 802.11b or 802.11a wireless network, taking advantage of 54Mbps data rate and high bandwidth on an 802.11a network and seamlessly transitioning to established 802.11b networks.
It also stores multiple location profiles, making it simpler for users to switch networks or locations.
The ORiNOCO ComboCard is available in Gold and Silver levels, with the Silver type delivering standard WiFi-compliant WEP security up to 152-bits, while the Gold type offers enhanced security including 802.1x with dynamic rekeying. Both cards include driver support for Windows XP, 2000, ME, 98SE, and NT 4.0.
