NetApp storage systems feature QLogic HBAs

Network Appliance Inc. has chosen QLogic Corp.'s SANblade host bus adapters (HBAs) to be used on its NetApp FAS900 Series storage systems, a unified storage platform, capable of handling data traffic in SAN and/or NAS mode.

The NetApp FAS900 series includes the FAS960c and FAS940c clustered systems, and the FAS960 and FAS940, all designed for a variety of enterprise data needs, including mission- and business-critical applications such as DSS, CRM, and ERP, as well as e-mail and collaborative applications.
