EADMotors has announced the release of a new brushless dc servomotor-based actuator that utilizes a precision screw and low profile encoder to achieve a high linear speed and closed loop control.

Compatible with all three-phase brushless dc motor amplifiers, the NEMA size 23 motor features permanently lubricated ball bearings and a dynamically-balanced rotor to reduce audible noise and vibration, and extend motor life.

It has a 50.8mm motor length that provides a peak torque of 0.076kg-m for fast acceleration and speed up to 5,000rpm at a rated torque of 0.017kg-m. Applications include medical equipment, semiconductor, robotics, and syringe pumps.
