Toshiba Corp. has announced that its MT4S100T and MT4S101T SiGe HBTs will now be available in the proprietary TESQ package that measures 1.2-by-1.2-by-0.52mm - 34 percent smaller than the 4-pin SOT-343 surface-mount package previously used by the transistors.

The MT4S100T are suitable for use in LNAs in 1.5GHz GPS and 2.4GHz WLAN applications, while the MT4S101T suits 5.2GHz WLAN systems. Both offer an insertion gain of 17dB (2V, 7mA) with the MT4S100T offering 0.72dB NF and the MT4S101T exhibiting 0.8dB NF.

Samples of both HBTs are available and are priced at 32 cents each.
