The CPC1335P OptoMOS solid-state relay from Clare Inc. combines a 1-Form-A relay with a 600W transorb in a single surface-mount package and is capable of blocking voltages of up to 350V.

Designed to replace reed relays in security system applications such as passive IR detectors and glass break sensors, the relay is claimed to be more immune to magnetic tampering and offers a higher reliability than reed relays. It also has a low input drive current, which allows the relay to be operated directly from logic level signals without external components.

The device also exhibits an on-resistance of 35 ohms and has a maximum stand-off voltage of 40V.
