Kel SIM card connector prevents misinsertion

The company's SIM card connector features a card detection switch designed to prevent misinsertion and a push and slide lock mechanism that assures high retention and operability of the SIM card. It also comes with a hinged cover and features a profile of 2.3mm.

Compliant with the GSM11.11 European cellular phone standard, the connector is manufactured with a UL 94V-0-rated black thermoplastic LCP and uses copper alloy contacts.

The contacts are gold over nickel plated at the contact area and tin alloy over nickel-plated at the terminal area. They are rated at 1A/contact and exhibit a maximum contact resistance of 55 milliohms.

The connector has an insulation resistance of 100 megohms a dielectric withstand voltage of 500Vac for 1min. It has a lifespan of 5,000 operations and is screened for operation over the -55C to 85C temperature range.
