The PT6714 switching regulator module from Texas Instruments delivers 1V, 13A while operating from a 3.3V input bus, enabling it to power workstations, servers and systems that employ multiple microprocessors, DSPs, ASICs, or FPGAs.

Available in a 17-pin, 65.5-by-26-by-12.7mm surface-mount, vertical through-hole, or horizontal through-hole Excalibur cooper package, the module also operates from a 5V input and delivers an output from 1V to 3.3V. It exhibits an efficiency of 90 percent and is rated for operation over the -40C to 85C temperature range.

The module also features on/off standby and differential remote sense functions, as well as short circuit protection. Suggested pricing for the PT6714 is $19.53 per 1,000 units.
