The MAX9384 LVPECL/PECL/LVECL/LVPECL 2:1 mux from Maxim Integrated Products exhibits a maximum jitter of 0.8ps and a peak-to-peak deterministic jitter of 70ps, making the device suitable for clock and data redundancy and multiplexing circuits found in mass storage servers, DSLAMs, basestations, automatic test equipment, and other applications that require low jitter for signal integrity.

The 20-pin SOP's dual 2:1 muxes can be selected individually or simultaneously. The input mux allows selection of one of the differential LVPECL or LVECL inputs signals and repeats it at the output.

The device operates at a supply range of 3V to 5.5V in PECL (5V) or LVPECL (3V) systems, and -3V to -5.5V in LVECL (-3V) and ECL (-5V) systems. Differential output is specified at 300mV at 1.5GHz minimum switching frequency, for the extended temperature range.
