The ST72324x series of general-purpose 8-bit microcontrollers from STMicroelectronics is capable of carrying 8KB to 60KB of ROM or flash program memory and is aimed at the appliances, industrial, and automotive markets.

The devices employ the company's high-density flash technology that features In-Application Programming capability and fast programming times, thus reducing production costs and test capacity constraints. In addition, the entire series also includes a 10-bit ADC and fully embedded secured reset circuitry with a user-configurable low voltage detector.

The MCUs also feature 16-bit timers with PWM capabilities and standard serial interfaces such as UART, I?C, and SPI. They are packaged in 32-, 44-, 64-, and 80-pin TQFPs, as well as SDIP32 and SDIP42 packages.

Already shipping in volume are the ST72324Jx and ST723245Kx that offer up to 32KB of flash and are available in TQFP32 (7-by-7mm) and TQFP44 (10-by-10mm) packages.
