Tarari Inc., a provider of subsystem building blocks for accelerated content processing, has chosen Xilinx Inc.'s reprogrammable chip technology for the development of the Tarari Content Processing Platform.

Tarari content processors are hardware and software-based subsystem building blocks that snap into servers, appliances and network devices, allowing for the inspection of application layer content at network speeds. Xilinx's field-upgradeable Virtex Platform FPGA devices are expected to enable the Tarari platform provide reduced development time and costs for ISVs, OEMs, and system integrators.
