Keywords:em microelectronics? em7602? crystal oscillator? tcxo?

The EM7602 32.768kHz TCXO from EM Microelectronic-Marin SA features a thermal drift of -0.012ppm/C? - three times better than conventional tuning fork crystals - and uses frequency factory trimming by EEPROM via serial interface to provide improved calibration tolerances.

Available in a 3.6-by-8mm, 4-pin SMD package, the device consist of a patented torsional tuning fork crystal and a low-power IC. It operates over the 1.8V to 3.6V voltage range, draws 6?A at 3V, and is screened over the -40C to 85C temperature range.

The TCXO can replace standard quartz and is used as a general purpose clock generator in digital systems. It can be used in electricity metering and automotive applications, as well as an input clock driver in real time clocks.

Pricing starts at $3.36 each in quantities of 10,000 units.
