Yokogawa Electric Corp. has announced the availability of the DL4700 series of digital oscilloscopes that combines eight analog input channels with a 16-bit logic input channel, and achieves a sampling rate of 2GSa/s, 500MHz bandwidth, and a maximum memory capacity of 16MWords.

The mixed-signal, multichannel capability of the device allows users to view the high-speed logic signals of a PC peripherals such as a flat panel display or a printer and correlate their timing relationship with other logic signals, while simultaneously observing noise or waveform quality.

The device supports 250MHz logic probes and provides USB interface, PC Card Type II slot, and an optional interface for Ethernet connectivity. The DL4700 series is 30 percent smaller, 40 percent lighter, and consumes 50 percent less power than previous models.
