Nokia to provide network services to Henan MCC

Mobile operator Henan MCC of China has granted Nokia Networks a GSM network contract worth more than $100 million. The agreement, which encompasses equipment deliveries including both GSM core and radio access network infrastructure and Nokia's Operations Support System solution, and Nokia NetAct, have already begun.
This contract is expected to enable Henan MCC to further enhance its network capability and rural coverage, strengthening its network capacity and quality across the whole province.
In addition to network equipment, Nokia will provide Henan MCC with network planning, implementation, and project management for efficient network ramp-up, as well as optimization services for enhancing data transfer rates and network quality.
