The MAX6133 series of voltage reference ICs from Maxim Integrated Products features a maximum temperature drift of 5ppm/C - half that of competing devices - and is available in a 5-by-3mm footprint microMAX package. Another version is available in an SOP and offers a typical temperature drift of 3ppm/C.

Designed for use in battery-operated devices, industrial controls, data-acquisition systems, ADCs, and DACs, the device has an initial accuracy of 0.04 percent, 200mV dropout (5mA source current), 15mA source/sink-current capability, and 16?Vpp noise (0.1Hz to 10Hz).

It is specified for operation over the -40&degC to 125C automotive temperature range and is available with four fixed output voltages of 2.5, 3, 4.096, and 5V.
