OnLine Power obtains two additional U.S. patents

OnLine Power Supply Inc. has received two new patents from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. One is entitled "Solid State Driving Circuit" and the other "Individual or Distributed Non-Saturating Magnetic Element Power Converter.", bearing patent numbers 6,504,423 and 6,507,501, respectively. Both patents cover advancements in power supply design.

OPS holds four U.S. patents for the process of producing ac to dc power supplies that have extended operating temperature ranges and power densities without thermal derating: an innovation called distributed power magnetics (DPM). Industries that could benefit these advancements include telecommunications, data communications, networking, and industrial.
